Just got back from my "other" meeting this moring...the one just 20 or so feet from the Pacific Ocean. The ocean was calm and peaceful and the meeting was a quiet spiritual, HP event.
Two people, married, both receiving anniversary coins for the same length of time in recovery. Both with the same message and different voices; same outcomes and different trails. I asked him after the meeting how his daughter, 16 yoa I believe...and part of "the family", was doing and he said. "Grades have gone up and she is sober."
It doesn't happen often but it happens and happened here. Need some hope?
I need a bigger body cause my spirit needs more room to move about. Keep moving toward the miracles.
Great stuff Jerry.... miracles come in so many forms, if we are just able to keep our minds and hearts open to seeing them.... I dunno whether the successes outnumber the failures in this craziness of addiction, but I'll be it is closer than we thought!
Take care Tom

Thanks for sharing that (((Jerry))). I was in need of seeing just that to get me over obsessing about a small issue that took my serenity today. Thanks!

Sometimes when we are in the great pain seeing other people's miracles and joys are the best thing for us. Being happy for someone else and celebrating their accomplishments can only make our heart & souls better. Thanks for such a wonderful post. Much love and blessings to you and your family.

A 'blood family' member has just received for 10 yrs, on the same day he got the news his Mum needs emergency eye surgery to try and hold back age related blindness. He is able to be there for her now when she needs him most.....miracles do happen if we let them.
