The material presented
here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
It could be just me, but for the last several months on this board, and in my two weekly meetings it seems newcomers are getting and applying the program quicker than in the past. They don't question the program, they are applying it in their lives and seeing their life get better. There are several examples I could bring up. Some on this board know who you are. I have loved watching their progress and it has benefited me and my progress in my program. We are all family and all helping each other.
I guess I am a little envious---------- because I was such a slow learner. LOL.
I agree there are a couple of new people that I am impressed with myself . I can only surmise that they were DONE , had hit thier bottom and are willing . for me thats all it takes .
