remembering what i have to be thankful for

((((((((((((Friends))))))))))))),

I have been on the pitty pot lately, don't get me wrong I have had some awful things go wrong in my life lately,

Today I have sat and realized just how lucky I am....my daughter survived that horrible car accident, granted she may need some surgery and she is not in the best condition but God spared her life....she is here.

I still have my wonderful son who eats me out of house and home..lol....but at least at the age of 17 he and his friends spend most of their time here at home and not out on the streets. and that is for sure something to be thankful for.

I have my beautiful g-daughter who lights up my world and that is a great thing to be thankful for,

We live in a nice home I have two wonderful parents who love me very much.

I have my cat and dog......We don't starve, we always have something good to eat.

we mostly have our health.....and  above all we have love...and that is something to be extremely grateful for.\

peace out,
Andrea

Andrea,
A very good friend of mine says that "When I change the way I look at things, the things I look at change" and he is so right.

I know for me I can manage a lot better when I try to maintain that attitude of gratitude.

Keep working it girl.

Yours in recovery,
Mandy

Wow Andrea!!   Walked thru some HP magic, you did.  Considering the attitude of
your previous post I'd say you found some major angel dust.   Thank you for
sharing the miracle you put in progress.   Good for you...you deserve an upper.

(((((hugs))))) smile

Too cool. Hold onto that thought when you are feeling blue again and it gets easier and easier to get through the bad stuff and on to the gratitude.

You deserved a break today. Glad you got it.

In recovery,
