Well, I come to the board with a heavy heart once again. Back in 2004, my AH had gotten his first DUI. By 2007 I left our home and he headed for a 30-day rehab. In 2008, I move back home and he fell off the wagon every now and then.
Last night, while driving home from a wedding with his mother in the vehicle, he ran a red light and a car collided into him, rendering his vehicle a wreck. Second DUI. His job requires him to drive. He has had 30 years with the company..........................
I feel like a fool. I have no hope for his sobriety. I have no trust.
I just write to let those of you who think that he or she has changed, well.......... hopefully that is true. But in my case it is false.
Truthfully, I think his licsense should be revoked for life. It is not just anger talking.
Thanks for reading.
