We just got back from having a intervention for my daughter. She will be going into treatment tomorrow. This time it will be in house. It is far worse than I knew. I know this is all for the best but I still hurt so bad for her. Thank you for the support

Aloha Blue...She is at the door of something that could change her life beyond her wildest dreams and so is the family. This is the "Trust God" portion of the program. Admitting you are totally powerless and turning her over. The second part is "Clean House"...get into the face to face Al-Anon Meetings and go as often as you can for the next 90 days before deciding if what we have is what you want and can help you and the family also. Another part comes later after the you part.
Yesterday at our Saturday morning meeting we had 2 sisters and a brother who working members of the program. Their happiness is infectuous. A week ago we had 2 sets of sisters. We are truely a family group. Keep coming back.
I am so glad your daughter is safe and is going into treatment tomorrow. She will be safe so that now you can start to try to take care of yourself "the Alanon" way. Jerry has already outlined a good method .
I would like to add please come here to chat and online meetings, post, try to get to face to face meetings and try to live one day at a time.
Glad your daughter is Ok, and I will be praying for your family and that with your daughter in treatment, now maybe you can take some time to take care of you, and your needs... I hope that your HP gives you the Power & Strength you need to make sure you have what you need for you to move forward in your program...

Meeting are GREAT When you need the extra support around you :) I'm hittin one myself here in a couple...

She's right where she's suppose to be. This is where the miracle can take place. Your miracle takes place too. Get to your face to face meetings. Enjoy the serenity of knowing she's in a safe place and there are people to help her. I wish your entire family all the love and support as your family recovers.
