acceptance

I am almost 2 months out now from having had the check stolen. There is no sign of a replacement check.  I can either let this issue consume me (which it certainly has) or detach detach and then detach some more.  Of course I want it to be anything but it is.

I don't believe I actually have a choice if I want to be healthy but I am convinced if I cry enough and scream enough the check will magically appear out of nowhere and I won't have to stand on my  head to try to get a replacement.  I'm close to acceptance but I'm still a hold out to be a victim.

Maresie.

((((Mareise))),
Take care of yourself. Sending prayers your way. I hope things get resolved soon.

Yours in recovery,
Mandy

I've been taught that when you start to treat it with humor its a sign that
acceptance is standing right behind you.    God you've battle this one soooo hard
to finally have reach surrender first before the check.

Maresie, I don't know the whole story about this, but just from what I read I hope you can get a resolution soon. I had my ID stolen some years ago by a Nigerian fraud ring, and it was truly a nightmare. I totally understand the feeling of wanting to detach! I would like to think the jerks that were behind this ran for their lives because they heard me screaming, LOL!!
