too much time on my hands!

I AM BEGINNING TO SEE MORE & MORE THAT I HAVE TOO MUCH TIME ON MY HANDS!  I AM PROBABLY POSTING TOO MUCH BUT THEN AGAIN, I CAN ONLY GET TO THE COMPUTER 3 OR  4 DAYS A WEEK FOR ONE HOUR A DAY!
I GUESS I AM ALWAYS "SECOND GUESSING" MYSELF, TOO!
TOO MUCH TIME TO THINK.  I HAVE BEEN TRYING HOBBIES A LITTLE--IF YOU CAN CALL THEM HOBBIES.
LAST NIGHT I FELT A LITTLE CLOSER TO MY GOD OF MY UNDERSTANDING--BUT I DIDN'T DO THE THINGS I USUALLY LIKE TO DO ON SUNDAYS.
HOPEFULLY I WILL CONTINUE TO WALK A PATH OF BEING POSITIVE & REMAINING CLOSE TO THE MEMBERS OF MY ALANON GROUPS.
THANKS TO ALANON & MY GRACIOUS HP. I AM GETTING WHOLE AGAIN!
MUCH LOVE & THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO READ MY POSTS.
I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THE PROGRAM.
JUST ME KATHLEEN

(((Kathleen)))

I don't think there is any such thing as posting to much. It is good for you AND all of us.

I am glad you are doing so well.

Hi Kathleenwink

I believe it is very important to stay connected to my recovery friends both at my face to face meetings and online.

I am glad you  post and stay connected.  It keeps our alanon family group strong.

Thanks for being here.

I do find being very busy is helpful.  I try to have a number of projects and goal son the go at one time. At the same time I have this inner persecutor who feels I never do enough.  Just my ESH.

Maresie.

Aloha Kathleen...Balance for me is what I desire and because of that a lot of my
recovery has been learning how to be quiet also.   When I have gotten busy my
business has surprised people and raised the "why" question in myself.  Why
won't I just be still and quiet for a while...just at peace and in acceptance for
how things are at the moment without wanting to do something.  I think it was
John Bradshaw, in his video series, that helped me understand the difference
between being a "human doing" and a "Human being".   Coming here puts me
in one chair for some time reading and learning (that's very good) and responding
or giving back the good that has been given to me...that's acceptance and also
gratitude.    (((((hugs))))) smile
