Ok so as most of you know, I have been handling my Afathers affairs since he past last Nov. and it has been nothing short of an up hill battle, and thanks to the help of Al-anon/ACOA I have been moving along, working my program, doing my best, and welp... It dawned on me today that my last conversation with my Afather was in a statement that "I" Said "Well Dad, Sometimes Our Best isn't Good Enough & We Just have to Try a Little Harder" (Hints we were speaking of his drinking).... Well he has thrown that back in my face more time then Not Since he past and this is just yet another example of my Afathers Humor...Or so it seems...

So in one of my last post, I mentioned that the gentleman called to tell me that they were placing Dad Head stone, and it was to be in last week... WELL... They did, I didn't get there till Friday for the boy has practice everynight after work, so I didn't get to go see it till then... Well As I drove up, I seen it and was VERY PLEASED at how it turned out, It was exactly what I wanted... I put a scene of deer, & trees, on it, and just loved it... As I sat there thinking to myself... "Why don't it feel complete", (I even bought little Fall pumpkins and such to sit on it, to make him ready for fall)... Well it didn't take long to figure out WHY... I didn't feel like this was it... When they placed his stone... "They Put It at His FEET"..... Yepperz... My Fathers beautiful HEAD STONE, is @ his Feet...

Well before Program, I would have dropped to my knees and most likely just cried the day away... But ya know... That is SOOOO My Afather... He never lacked on Humor, EVER!!! So instead I laughed till i D$mn near fell over I was laughing so hard...Didn't shed 1 Tear... For at that moment, I looked at my bracelet of the day and it stated... "I am Powerless"...lol... Yep... That was me at that moment... There wasn't a darn thing that tears would have changed, there wasn't one thing that me having a complete and total melt down would have saved... So that is were I am today... I am Powerless, and My Daddy-O is saying.... "Sometimes your best Just Isn't Good Enough" AMEN....

So, Today I finally got around to calling the people that installed it, and he told me that he would have it put in the correct place ... lol... For a Small fee for labor & materials... and welp, I guess that is my plan B, and we will just have to see how much more, My Afather has instore for me... Thank Gooodness I Found Al-anon/ACOA... For Lord only knows the ball of nerves I would be had I not realized... Just how POWERLESS I Am... :)
