I've been offered an interview for a new job

So after my last post of presenting an emplyment contract and my seeing the audit to fruition, that went totally out the window. My ex-bf wouldn't sign anything and I stood my ground and walked out. The audit was today and he had to handle it by himself. I don't know the details of the results, only what he's told me, and I didn't ask. I feel it's none of my business. this is his company and his business to keep alive or not. According to him the audit went well, only a few minor items to address. Now this really iritates me on one had becasue it means that I already had enough informtiaon put together that eveyrthing way fine. On the other hand I can't trust that what's he's saying is the total truth.

So I found myself getting really bugged on the way home because he got what he wanted and didn't have to pay me AGAIN. UGH. So frustrating. I got home to my friends house and started telling my feelings and the husband of the family asked me if i would like to work ina bank, as a new accounts person. I said of course, that's right up my alley. So he said he would set up an informal interview at ths bank with the guy he knows as soon as i'm ready. like next week.

that's exciting for me to potentially have a job lined up. it's becomig very clear that i can't continue to work under these curent conditions. I have to get out from underneath my ex-bf and that means leaving  my job.

So please pray for wisdom and guidance for me to carry out God's will. Thanks everyone for being here.

Hi redfred,

I get so angry when I hear what your Abf is doing to you it makes me see red! If you ahve been with him for, what is it 16-17 years, then doesn't that consitute a common law marrige. I would look into your legal right on this one. I'm surprised someone hasnt' mentioned it before. It doesn't seem legally right for him to be doing what he is to you. I would get a lawyer if i could, even a pro-bono one, if you can't afford one outright. This just isn't fair what is happening to you. Sorry, I'm letting my anger show! angered.gif

Congratulations on the possible job interview, I think that's great that your getting out of the work environment with your Abf, that has to be a hard one for you. I will pray that your interview will go well for you and that you will be working in a bank soon!

Love and prayers,
Overcome

(((redfred)))

It's no mistake that things are happening as they are biggrin
Embrace it and roll with it!!

Try not to give the audit or what BF said about it another thought.   It doesn't really matter.  Instead, focus on you and your possible new job and create an attitude of success!!

"I am woman, hear me ROAR!!"   (lol)   You go girl!!

good luck w/job interview......God will come through for the ones doing whats right.....also as to ex b.f???   what goes around does come around...you may not be able to assert yourself for anything...maybe you can...however, remember, that he may "get by with it" in this law (earth), but he will have to pay the karma one day and its gonna be bad....how he treated you was really reprehensible.......sometimes ya just have to give the vengeance over to God and walk away...lesson learned....and start anew.......he will get his..you may not see it but what goes around really does come around....good luck...hope you get the job
