This past semester in college was so hard as I had major surgery less than two weeks before the semester began. It was uphill the entire time for me, so I took 2 incompletes, which I will finish by the end of next month.
I started volunteering half days at my local hospital last week in the medical records department, and that will be credited to the 2 practicums I have to complete for the degree, which is good!
My academic advisor already has me enrolled for fall, 7 classes for 13 credit hours total! I'm trying hard to just stay in the moment.
It looks like I will complete the associate of applied science (in medical information technology) degree in May 2010, and I am so excited.
I am also only 9 credit hours short of getting an associate of arts, so I will put those classes off until summer of 2010 as next semester will be just as hairy!
Sometimes I have to pinch myself to realize I am actually doing this! For so long my life was chaotic, and because of the program, I have learned a better way to live.
