Too tired to get to a meeting....

Just so tired this week.  Only got to one f2f.  Think it's the rainy spring weather.  So grateful for this board.  Thanks everybody for all the insight and recovery.

Up there on top is the "Online meeting schedules" go go go they are really neat. I am so dumb, have not been there for a verrrrry loooong time. I used to always be.

They really are ran well and I learned so much.

Ok tired? Is your iron ok? thyroid? Are you eating right? Exercise? Is it mentally tired too? That is the worst to me!

If you need to vent Do IT!! We all do.It does help. You don't have to go to a meeting, just do it here. Also there are some great friends in the chat room. I seriously used to live there. My mind and body were there.

Really helped with the anxiety. We would pass around duct tape, pinch people, just really get into our being on another plain thing. lol

HUGS, it is ok to rest too uno! debilyn

Aloha Sue!!

I agree that the MIP board is very very convenient and reveals that family is every
where.  Coming here to read is a great idea.  That way sometimes I let others in
the program go to the meetings and then come here and share it with me.  I
do the same.

Saturday morning, "Super Saturday" Al-Anon meeting was on detachment.  15
or so members sharing their Experience, Strength and Hope on the subject.  The
consequence?....minds, bodies, spirits and emotions get rescued, dusted off,
stood erect and led back to the journey in much better shape than when they
came into the meeting at 8:30AM local time.  Another consequence?  we get to
take that recovery into the community with us and contribute in a most positive
way with our fellow human beings.

I could have never imagined how my life and recovery would have evolved from
when I first stumbled in thru the doors of my first Family Group meeting.  Mahalo
Akua...Thank you God.   "Free at last".

(((((hugs))))) smile
