Ok... Long short, I gave away afathers trailer, "Great DONE", also gave away the Nice shed that was with it... WELL... The land owners came over the other day when the lady was removing the trailer and said that "NO WAY" was she taking the Shed, it did not go with the trailer...
She calls me all up set ready to send a bunch of guys down to "whoop Up" on the idiots, and I told her..."I honestly don't know if the shed belonged to Dad, and I have No Proof of that information, I just know that Yes the Trailer did"...
Soooo She left it go, took the trailer and off she went, after they gave them a heck of time on how and were to get the trailer out... With a Cop standing there the hole time...
TODAY... About 3:30 I get a phone call from the Landowners... Telling ME "I" Have till the 1st "MONDAY" to get the SHED out or I owe them another months rent!!!! It is an 8X10 Shed... Wooden...Very Heavy.... Arggggg.... I think they are honestly trying to drive me crazy... AND THEN, she says, "All and by the way, you still owe the water company $48.50 for the month of MAY...
I really would not want to be around when God thends to these people.... I swear they are the most hateful bunch of people I know... I explained that the lady was planning to take the shed and they told her NO...She said... Well... That is because it belonged to YOU... I then said, YEAH And I Gave it to HER... But yep... I'm still liable... Some how some way...
So now the plans that I had for this weekend are ALL out the window, because I have to find a way to move a shed...I am so agrivated right now I could spit bullets...What a bunch of "xxxx"... They know what I am going thru, and yet keep piling it on...
I am really tring to do "One Moment At A Time" but I am thinking I should slow it down to seconds... Every time the phone rings I am cringing wondering What NOW...

Can the lady that took the trailer come back and get it? If not, here's a suggestion...post it on craigslist and say it's free with the stipulation that they have to get it off the property this weekend. Take a few back up names in case something falls through. Then you can still salvage your weekend and get rid of the shed too. You could also post on freecycle.org.
You've come through the big stuff girlfriend. This is just a minor irritant. No doubt with the strength and tools you've acquired through this ordeal you can knock this one off with no problem. "Don't sweat the small stuff"

Jozie check your state landlord tenant laws. A shed, fence that are afixed like that legally have to "stay" on the property! Don't believe anything she says. You have rights.
Also the water bill is in his name, you are not liable. Plus how the heck does she know if it is in your dads name? If she opened his mail, called the water company, that is breaking a MAJOR law now. The HIPPA law.
If he is on her meter too bad, it is in HER name.
Drop it, go on your week end.
Then Monday find out what the law says. She could turn around and sue you for TAKING the shed!
Believe me, I am a landlord and you would be surprised the rights you have.
Oh Jozie! I feel your pain. An 8X10 shed is pretty big, i was going to suggest having a bonfire!!! But that's not good advice. You are almost finished all this mess. Good Luck!
