Job Interview Part 2--Update

Thanks everyone for all of the support!! The interveiw went wonderfully! It is not required to relocate for this position, but it will require alot of disaplin. It is 40 miles away from my home and I would have 10 stores and have to visit each of them twice a month. LOTS OF TRAVELING but all stores are within a 1 hour drive from my home. My current job is 2 miles away from home and I don't have to travel. Anyways...that is the only negative, but it is workable. It would be WONDERFUL! and I am looking forward towards this no matter if my a is sober or not. This is all about ME!!!!

Sincerely,
Tonya

Hello Everyone!

I got a call today and I have been asked to join the Regional Sales Manager for a face to face interview.  I am excited.  I have given this situation to HP.  I was having anexity about the whole situation because I love my current job and my boss and co workers.  I wasn't seeking employment I was just checking out what was going on in my career field.  But I have come up with this........what ever will be will be, this is my career - sometimes you have to go out to go up and that's what I am doing and I think my boss will understand.  That's if I am offered this wonderful opportunity.

Sincerely,
Tonya

RE: Job Interview Part 2

Tonya,
Sounds very promising if they've asked you for a f2f interview. You go girl! Nothing wrong with "going out to go up" if it further's your career. You've got to think of you first in situations like that, no matter what the boss thinks. That's my opinion, take what you like and leave the rest. I'll be praying for your interview. Good luck!

Good for U....Good luck!!!! A good company will understand your need to further/better yourself....And your leaving with good graces...You can always go back to prev. job if this one does not pan out....WATCH and OBSERVE these people b/c abuse is everywhere....I am in a job where the old man abuses me..Sons are nice...He is a jerk.....And this is a pattern....I need the place so bad, It was like I was hired "sight unseen" and I took a risk....In interviews, I WATCH and ask ???S like you will I be working with, what happened to my predecessor and if I can, I ask other employees what the boss is like......really check this out!!! and GREAT luck!!!
