What a wonderful, wonderful day!!! And I mean it!!!

First of all, thank you, thank you for all your prayers for my sweet Bonnie Lou(my Beagle).  She seems to be a whole lot better. Not completely out of the woods, but not coughing so much.  Praise God and all of you with your wonderful messages of concern.  There is nothing like the love of a dear pet.  And when they are in pain or in trouble, it hurts as much as when your kids are sick.

But the best news is that I had a wonderufl day with my AD.  We went to the town she is in (2hours away).  We met her guardian angel.  I know this may sound strange, but she is staying with a "gentleman friend".  He is a friend of their family.  Daughter was a good friend of his wife from her job.  Anyway, she became close to this gentleman from her friendship with his wife.  His wife passed away about 7 years ago.  He has completely taken Jennifer under his wing and given her the support and courage that I was not able to give her.  He is 76 years old; Jennifer is 37.  I know there is nothing going on as far as a "relationship".  This man had a son that died at the age of 33 of a drug overdoes.  I think he is helping Jennifer as a way to make up for the loss of his son.

Anyway, Jennifer was doing great.  God, I love her so much and I am so proud of her.  She has come a long way since I last saw her about 4 months ago.  She has a healthy glow!!  And God, I pray she remain sober.  I know her husband did not cause her to drink, but he sure did not help her when she got in trouble with the booze.

We are going out of town this coming week end.  We are relunctant to leave Bonnie alone since she has been sick and besides she is still on medication.  Jennifer has offered to come here and "dog sit" for us.  She loves animals as much as I do and she is a pro at giving dogs pills.  So, I hope and pray she comes through for me.  In fact, when we got Bonnie Lou, Jennifer was visiting that week end.  She went with us to view the litter of Beagles.  She actually picked Bonnie out of the litter.  On the way home we were trying to figure out a name of our new puppy.  There was a "beer joint" down the road from our house, called "Bonnie Lou's".  Jennifer said "how about Bonnie Lou" and that name stuck.

I hope everyone had as wonderful Mother's Day as I had.  God Bless you all for all your wonderful prayers for my sweet Bonnie Lou.  I really do think she will pull through.  I love you guys so much.

((((Clara & Bonnie Lou)))),

Such good news!  It makes my heart sing.  I hope and pray your daughter will continue her recovery.  Sending lots of positive thoughts to Bonnie for her speedy recovery.  Pipers and I had a bit of a scare today.  I had to run her down to the vet because she was choking.  They had to sedate her but all is well.  I go back to get her in a few hours.  Apparently a extra long piece of grass got stuck and wrapped around her soft palate and she couldn't get it out. That's my girl.  She never keeps it dull for me.

I am so glad you had a great Mother's Day.  Travel safe and hurry back home to us.  Much love and blessings to you and your family.  Scratch Bonnie Lou's ears for me.

Live strong,
Karilynn & Pipers Kitty smile
