Few weeks ago I had an Alanon meeting using Skype.

The conference call included people from Sweden, Japan, Australia, Ireland, Thailand, USA.smile
Everyonee was sharing similar things about the disease of alcoholism.

To me alcoholism is world wide and is a pandemic with serious consequences for everyone in contact with this disease.no
Is the disease of alcoholism considered as a pandemic? No? why not?

Isn't it neat to know that we have a world wide disease with a world wide solution?
Through this website, I've met people in Sweden, France, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Turkey, the UK and Canada. It's been so cool to meet people from differnt countries and listen to their stories. It really ends the isolation

It is important to contact Jamie P Alanon , the organiser of ALANON
SKYPE meetings, before trying to SKYPE the ALANON SKYPE GROUP.

**Because you need to be "registered" in the group before connecting.
This is FREE.**

Contact Jamie P Alanon:

1) by email  thereisawayafg@gmail.com
AT LEAST A FEW DAYS BEFORE JOINING the audio conference.

2)  by SKYPING Jamie P, so Jamie can explain more how to "connect" to the "audio conference" before it starts.

The protocol for connecting to the SKYPE AUDIO ALANON GROUP needs to be followed.

3) SKYPE "conferencing" is new to SKYPE.

4) At present SKYPE "audio conferencing" does not support video conferencing.

All the conditions above may change.
