The material presented
here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
1. The freedom to see and hear (perceive) what is here and now, rather than what was, will be or should be.
2. The freedom to think what one thinks, rather than what one should think.
3. The freedom to feel what one feels, rather than what one should feel.
4. The freedom to want (desire) and to choose what one wants, rather than what one should want.
5. And the freedom to imagine one's own self-actualization, rather than playing a rigid role or always playing it safe.
ROSIE...1...staying in the NOW and not being in denial 2...being safe enough within me to think AS I THINK..be myself when i was so approval seeking, i would be what they wanted me to be..not what i was....that is now over 3...i FEEL my feelings....I know they are just feelings...not facts...i allow them to pass through me and then i move on with positive self talk 4...YES....GIVE to myself...be generous to ME....and to pursue my wants as long as i am not harming another creature 5...TRUSTING in me and my HP enough to let the *real* me come out in all her imperfect slendor...visualizing my good...giving thanks for it
