I had the feeling that what I said, did not count too much, because I have been away from the message board for too long.
I know that God (HP) speaks through the people, and the experiences in our lives. I feel very blessed today, because the answer I needed came to me through John. Thank you John from the bottom of my heart. I received your message this morning, and it led me back to this message board which has always been so helpful to me.
I would like to share, with each one of you.... that you are all very special, and don't ever forget it. The following quote was sent to me this morning also, and it is written by an unknown author.
"amateurs built the ark...professionals built the titanic....if God (HP) brings you to it, He will bring you through it. When I read this, I thought it may be helpful to others. I am looking forward to sharing with each, and everyone of you again.
Hi, TeddyBear...I love that name as teddybears are very special to me and so are you. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I haven't been able to post for awhile as my laptop has been giving me fits. It certainly helps to have a little prompting from John to get back to the site where we receive so many benefits. I hope all is going well for you. I'm still trying to control so I need to let go and let God. I hope I can remember your quote "If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it." That is so comforting as when I have challenges to face, I try to do it all alone. How much easier it will be if I have God by my side. Love and prayers to you. Annie
You are always so sweet, and caring. I have missed our communication together. I really believe that the people who are in our lives, are there for a reason. I have come to understand that God (HP) really does work through other people in my life. I find that even the most difficult situations that I go through, are the ones that help me to grow, and see my life differently.
As you can see, John was there, just like an angel, on my path to guide me back to this message board.
All we need to do each day, is to ask our HP for help. Isn't is so simple, yet we often forget!!
I am happy to be back, and your words are very comforting to me. I do feel like I am back home again, and I am not sure exactly how the message board works, yet I am learning again slowly.
The first time I came back, I had felt welcomed, yet I was still very uncomfortable. I did not have the courage to come back the second time, and that is when I received John's e-mail. I really need you, and all of my family on this message board. I have kept on with my Alanon meetings, and I go each week. I have developed a lot of faith in the HP, and each time I am in a situation where I am suffering, that is when I grow and understand more. If the HP brings me to it....the HP does bring me through it!!
Thanks for creating a soft spot for me to fall back on. I believe in the reason, the season, and the time. It is time for me to be back on this message board again. Thank you for being there!!
