information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal

Take a look at Jerry's recent post on ESH. As always it's honest, encouraging and full of knowledge. I came across a daily reading from our: Courage to Change for April 15. It talks about Alanon's position on safety. Here's part of it:
"....Alanon's position is that we must each find answers that are right for us. The one exception is a life-threatening or violent situation. In this case, Alanon suggests putting first things first: ensuring the safety of ourselves and our children."
It continues on by making suggestions on how to do that. After being robbed last week, I have taken extra steps myself. While we are more than sure this was an internal theft, I have not felt safe in my own home. So I have taken some extra steps. After all I must look after Pipers and I. I hope this clarifies things in case you were wondering about Alanon's "official stance". Much love and blessings to you all, and of course your pets.

I hope you're feeling better all around. I can only imagine how frightened you were/are about that terrible event. I can also imagine how frightend you are to leave your house. I just want to let you know that I love you, and I hope you keep poting
