I've been trying to research the best way to start step 4. I got a blueprint workbook at the suggestion of my sponsor. She also said that she really likes the Paths to Recovery book, which I have. I sat down and read both of the books. I don't know which is better to do. The blueprint seems to be more in depth, but the paths questions seem more pertinent. I think I'm overthinking the whole thing! Any help on the best way to do this would be great!
Do both. I have the blueprints and it's good. I love books and the more the merrier. If I learn something from one book that is not in the other then fantastic. I need all the help I can get! LOL. Sincerely, Tonya
This time around I am part of a women's Blueprint Step 4 group and every other week after our al-anon group we are doing a "chapter". Its pretty incredible, I gotta say. Hugs, J.
Aloha Sis...the suggestion to do both is a good one. There isn't a graduation ceremony in our program so we have all the time in the world for review of what we have done before and...there is always room for progress so more actually is or can be better. I've done 6 forth steps over the years (regardless of the advise of others) and each one was more indepth. The last one was done with the suggestion of one of my spiritual sponsors to look for the "tap root" of all of my character problems and that one was special. That you are working with your sponsor is best.
