Daughter did not go into rehab as she promised last week. Not surprised. Anyway, since I would not let her come to live with us, she is not speaking to me. I am counting my blessings.
So, i have no idea on what is going on with her.
Last week, we had a horrible lightning storm. Lightning struck our phone lines and destroyed everything connected to the phone lines; TV, DVR, all phones, satelite dish, and computer. So, I did not need the added stress of AD

I know you would have liked for your AD to have gone to rehab, but she will in her time. It sounds like your HP knew you had all you could handle on your plate for this week. Keep your head up, keep going to meetings and reading your literature.
She is in the best hands and they are not yours but those of a power so much greater than ourselves- you made a great choice to get out of the way of HP and let HP do what needs to be done for her. Keep the focus on you and you alone. Hugs, J.
I'm sorry about your daughter. I hope and pray she will find her way to rehab. Only she can do it. I'm glad your house is still standing. That can be frightening. You handled things great. Proof positive that Alanon works. I'm not sure I could have handled it as well as you did. Remember you're doing what is best for you and your family. Stay strong.
