No big drama, I just recently 'Since Finding myself' Realized that I LOVE TO READ fiction books... My question... I know that there are TONS of AL-anon books, but is there any books that anyone knows that are fiction books that tell the story of an Afamily, or an alcoholic that recovered or an Adult Child of an Alcoholic, anything of this nature...I just LOVE a good book and would love to here of someone that lived and survived... lol... Anything you can give would be great...Just looking for idea's... Love authers with an sense of humor about life, but real life for sure...
I recently read "The Shack" by William Paul Young. I first heard about it here on this message board, then subsequently several times elsewhere. Then it seemed to appear before me everytime I was out shopping. I finally caught on that this must be one of those HP things, LOL. So I finally got it and read it. It's a beautiful piece of work - I've been letting myself absorb it for the past few weeks and will probably go back and read it again very soon.
The Shack and it is awesome. REALLY makes you think of HP in a whole new light and is funny also with lots of stuff to make ya think. I am thinking of when I finish it the first time, reading it again with Colt as a connectiion type activitiy. My sponsor, God love her, sent me a copy of it and it's kinda sentimental to me now:) Highly recommend it.

I agree "THE SHACK" I was too told about in the chat room. I have not finished the book yet but it sure is holding my attention. I only have one problem, I can never seem to find the book were I left it, it seems that my wife likes it as well. LOL. Good luck.
