AH and have been seperated for 7 months, filed and put divorce on hold several times since.  He's not ready for recovery right now and we can not live together.  I've been struggling with the decision and guilt of leaving him.  I'm so often consumed with thoughts of what was, wasn't and what may never be.   I've been carrying his pain and I have not been taking care of myself. I've been stuck in limbo all this time.

It's decision making time and I finally feel like I'm taking control of my life.    I decided to go to the mall to walk off some stress and I came across a sign that said "Free your mind"  "Relax" " Trust Yourself".  Definitely some words I needed.

Sounds like your HP was working for you in the Mall... It also sounds as thou you have already told yourself what it is that you need to do... And that apprears to be Take care of you before you go back to taking care of someone else...

It is a hard road, and I know because I am slowly learning in this big world that I Too Matter, and I TOO, have the right to be happy with or with out the "A's" in my life...I was always told that "Life is what YOU make it", because if someone else makes it for you it really isn't your life at all... So Keep coming back and gathering and sharing your thoughts as often as you read and share others, It only works if you work it, so keep it going... Your in the right place to have all the support that you need...

Aloha Marshmallow!!

Golly I agree with missing and while my HP has showed up alot of places
for me I can ever remember the Mall being one of them but LOL...HP
chooses the right place and time and I ain't gonna try to out power HP
again.    My HP can and will use simple things like those signs  to take
me to the next step...maybe not all the way to the end but just to the
next step.  Because I am so skeptical and resistant to change (it was
worse) and HP just won't whap me up the head with an order...it's
little steps.    I think those signs were GREAT suggestions for now.

I know for me the decsion came over a long period of time to let the A go and move on with my life. I feel for you its a hard decision to make. Holding onto something that never was took me 7 years. Letting go took another 2.

I admire you having the courage to take the step it's really imeasurable how big a step it is. I know because I haven't taken it yet but feel I could've on oh so many occassions.
