I was researching meeting times for Alanon in my area and one of them said Fellowship AFG.  What does AFG mean?  Also, one said beginner's.  Is that the one I should attend.

AFG= Alanon Family Groups

A beginners meeting is always a good choice as it will give you a great basis of the program. But whatever meeting you can get to will be a good one.

I would try the beginners meeting , they are usually smaller and focus on the firtst 3 steps , also because smaller u get a liittle more time to talk and ask the questions u have make it easier to slide into reg meetings .  Tho I a gree any meetingu attend is a step forward , good luck  Louise

Al-Anon is for family, friends and associates of alcoholics or addicts whose
lives have been affected by someone elses drinking.  That's just the short
of it.  Abbyal and Seren have more information.
