information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal

The teen room and board really needs some support. Teens have stopped posting and when they come to the chat room even at scheduled meeting times no one is there for them. A teen recently posted and asked where they should go since the place seems dead due to no one posting. The teens need help I can't say it enough. I'm trying to help more but I can only due so much especially since even though my alcoholic parents know I'm on the boards etc I still don't go on it usually when they are in the room.
Would also be happy to try and help occasionally.... what can I do? I am a 2 year Alanoner (my wife is my qualifier and still active), but more to the point, I also have a teenage son (16) so I can sure appreciate what the teens are going through - I more or less serve as the defacto sponsor for my teen son....
I am super busy and not all that computer savy....but I am an alateen sponsor, regestered and everything. Feel free to call on me and if I have time I will do what is needed!!
I appreciate all the support. One problem we are having is teens go to the alateen chat room and no one is there even during the scheduled meeting time as I already explained. So if any of you can come to the meetings just to be there in case a teen shows up and is able to either run the meeting or help me to run a meeting it would be much appreciated! When I attend meetings I participate I don't lead. I lead a meeting in the teen room once but I had help. I probably could due to my age [21 almost 22] and experience but I don't have the confidence/self-esteem. Thanks again for replying and offering to help.
