Help PLease
I think everything will be okay. This situation seems so complicated but if you're following what the couselor's say, it should work out. It's stressful though. Do take care of yourself.
He can file all the custody suits he wants , but he will have to prove that u are an unfit mother first and that is not easy , try not to get tangled up in the negative stuff - 15 yr old and 18 yrs olds get to make thier own decission as to where they want to live and with who . It will all work out just the way it's supposed to , follow councelors directions stick to the truth and pray . Louise
I agree follow what they say one step at a time, stick to the truth and pray. Everything will work out for the best. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sounds like it's quite a stressful time for you at the moment. You can choose who you want there at the court hearing, the final say lies with you, maybe talk to your daughter and see how she feels about the day and wether she wants to go or not.
Not many courts ever give custody of the children to an A. You and your children have rights to feel safe and be cared for by the the best care giver available - I am sure that is you.
Try and take one day at a time or just one hour at a time if thats all you can manage.
Don't panic. You're in divorce court for a reason. Your kids need to see you're not taking sides, being fair, and being honest. Keep working your program and you'll see this through.
Can you access help for yourself. How about a counselor? What about going to meetings. You deserve support. There is a lot to sort out in a divorce. The process can go on for a while.
