Wishing the best on our U.S. custom of Thanksgiving Day. Happy Turkey Day everyone!!!
I have not been posting much lately as the last three months are the peak time for my business. But, I have not missed either of my Al-Anon meetings each week, just do not have a lot of extra time for me this time of the year.
I would like to say I consider each of you family, and let you all know I have received a lifetime of ESH from this board during the 10 months I have been a member. I have made coming here everyday and going to meetings a part of my everyday life.
I stated in an earilier post , I have only been late to one Al-Anon meeting, and that was my very first meeting.( I was at least 5 or 6 years late to it.) But with a little over two years in Al-Anon, and 10 months coming to this board almost every day, my life is so much better. What more could I ask?
I guess the best way to sum the overall picture up would be to say my AW is the same or worse, but my HP is in charge of that situation. I hope HP is not mad at me because I completely quit helping him out with her. LOL. And me, I can honestly say I am changed and better because of this wonderful program.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. I work retail and got home very late last night. Can't put the Black Friday ad up until everyone is gone. Pipers was bouncing off the wall by the time I got home around midnight. I couldn't stay up and play with her as much as I would have liked. So sleep was minimal. I should have spiked her Fancy Feast! I'm ready to go back for a nap. :sleep. She's outside running amok! Good work turning your wife over to her HP. That's all we can do. Have a wonderful day. Love and blessings to you and your family.
Live strong & eat well, Karilynn & Pipers Kitty

I am honored to be part of your family, and grateful that you are part of mine.
Congratulations on keeping the meetings up even when you are busy. I know for me, it is true that the more hectic things become the more I need a meeting!
A program friend likes to quote one of his "special mentors" along these lines.
The mentor says, paraphrased, "Take time to pray everyday. If we are too busy, then we need to pray twice a day!"
What a great post. I am indeed someone who makes coming to this board so critical to my life. I also pray every day. I do consider you all part of my "tribe" and know that you all want the best for me. I am so heartened to read of everyone's progress. I know the holidays are traditionally a very very very hard time for me and I would be lost without this board.
