'Twas the night before discharge I sat in my house Counting all the ways he behaved like a louse I open my "toolbox" examining each one then replace them in order to get the task done This will not come as an easy feat I am putting a loved one out on the street I am a woman who thru experience has grown no longer will I this behavior condone I put on my pjs and slip into bed visions of serenity dancing in my head I release a big sigh as I turn out the light in the dark I quietly whisper "please make it alright"
