Today I am feeling a loss that I can't seem to shake. I guess it is still brand-new in my heart because it happened on Saturday. One of most trusted servants and loveable soul died. His spirit will live on. He was sober for 22 years. I was introduced to Al-anon that same year although I didn't meet him until years later. It breaks my heart to write this so bear with me. I miss him so much because he loved everyone even me. His family is mostly in the program and his daughter is also sober and of course having a terrible time because they we so close. He was one of the best people that has shown up to our small little area via a big city and made our groups better & more like AA should be. I have been touched by him and his family and will always love him. Wayne H. His memory will live on and will be at that big meeting in the sky! Kathleen
