Just some thoughts I'm having. I have posted a couple times. I have received responses, more than I was expecting. Some were overwhelming to me. I could not absorb the concepts that were being shared. I did get some things out of the responses though. I hope its ok. I was initially thinking I would post here once a week but now I think it would be better at least a couple times a week.

hugs... that is what this Board is for, to express ideas. It is so powerful to write and get issues off of your chest, out of heart & mind. Very cathartic. I encourage you to post, read, come to chat (we have mtgs there 2/day). This forum has been a life saver for me and I have expressed some very extreme & personal issues as I did not know how to cope. You don't have to make any rules, we can post as many times as we want to.  Take each day as it comes. Some days I skip the site altogether, some days I can't peel myself away. We've all been there.

I am so happy you are getting something out of it. I used to go to a therapist and after a while, I thought, here I am doing all of the foot work & soul searching, why am I paying someone to validate me - getting feedback here has been incredibly helpful & amazing. The support and love is phenomenal.

Keep up the good work, keep coming back, you are worth it!

I actually joined this forum to read other's experience strength and hope to see some new perspectives outside of my regular meetings. My first post actually was a little of my own to another newbie to the forum. It's funny how I came to the program to help myself, and yet I always end up helping someone else without trying to. LOL

I actually never thought that I would post more than a hello, and here I am posting again. When I started in the program, I was very quiet and kept to myself. Now they cant shut me up. I guess thats the same here. LOL
