I just wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. My son is home from surgery (thought i should clairfy that ) and doing well . I am grateful that I am able to stay home at least for the weekend and be his nurse.
I haven't been keeping up with the board like I should be and don't know what is/was wrong with your son, but you can be sure that I am happy that he is doing well. I think of you often and every now I then I put that button in my pocket and know you are with me. Take care of YOU as you take care of your son.
(o: One day at a time! Soooo relieved. Hang on tight!
Does he have any interests you can get fired up??
I was talking to my son last night, he told me it was all the support he got for rafting, hiking, fishing, scuba diving, motorcycles, him helping me build things that made him want to stay off drugs.
He found his passions other than drugs.
I also always told my kids, do not do a job you hate. Do what you like to do. It is horrible to come home and say, I hate my job.
Life offers so much more.So they both listened and are happier for it and they thrive.
Does not mean things are perfect.I share both sides. However that is parenting.
I am soooo relieved for you guys.So what does he want to do?
Glad everything worked out well. Now Pipers Kitty and I can uncross our legs, arms, paws, fingers, toes and tail. We look pretty goofy right now. Here's to a speedy recovery. Love and blessings to you and your son.
Live strong, Karilynn & Pipers Kitty
