I want to thank everyone for the lovely and very encouraging responses to my recent posts and for the lovely birthday wishes that you all expressed.
The after glow certainly got me through the rest of last week.
This week, however, is a different kettle of fish and tomorrow is going to be very testing, so I am asking for your prayers as I go for a medical assessment. I have two people to see tomorrow at different times of the day and fortunately a friend is going with me to help me listen, hear and remember what is said, suggested and/or agreed. The first meeting is at 09:30 ( I am 6 hours ahead of Texas - so that will be at 03:30 in the morning), and the second meeting is at 12:50 (making that 6:50 in the morning).
Not looking forward to this at all. It will be my third time of going through all the hoops in the last two years and yet it is bothering me more this time probably because I feel so worn down by it all and the pain does not help either; in any case as the years pass it all seems to be so much harder to deal with and accept as 'impersonal'!
Impersonal my foot, it is very personal, but that is what I am told, don't take it personally it is just par for the course!
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Y is it that the A's seem to come up smelling of roses, whilst we seem to sink into the manure? (After all He is the one who gave me the injuries in the first place and yet I am still suffering from them all these years since, and it is affecting my every day and my employment capabilities too.) Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! This is probably not the case, it just seems like it, and I need to grump about my situation right now.

The lotus flower rises from the mud. The deeper the mud the more beautiful the lotus blooms. Now wouldn't you rather be the unique and beautiful lotus rather than a common old rose, with thorns, that gets infested with bugs and fungus? LOL!
You, my friend are a lotus flower if ever I have seen one!
