to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
Life has been crazy busy, and I miss being able to read down through the threads over here, but I do try and read a few during the week.
I'm waiting to hear back on my application for grants for college, and whatever isn't covered will be paid by Vocational Rehabilitation, so no more college loans to pay off in the future!
College classes start June 2nd, so I'm starting to feel a bit antsy, and hope that I can do well.
The youngest daughter will be starting her 3 full week at a new job where she will be eligible for health benefits after her 90 day probation.
It's been really nice and quiet here on week days as she has to be up very early (it's a 25 mile commute), and she's tired when she gets home. We usually eat supper, she takes a shower, and then we're both in bed fairly early.
Tomorrow evening there are 4 of us gals meeting to get the ball rolling on the new Alanon meeting here in town.
All in all, I'm feeling pretty serene, and hope to start getting over here a little more often!

I am rooting for you and keeping you in my prayers. I know that you will do just fine and that your every provision will be met. So excited for you, and your new College classes will be a real challenge that I feel sure you will rise to.
Your home sounds calm and you, despite the 'antsy', come across as being serene.
Keeping your new venture - a brand new Alanon meeting in your town - in my prayers too. Go for it...you are really twelfth stepping and it is so amazing to see how far you have come, even in the short while that I have been around.
