Just Do the Legwork

Then turn it over.  Easier said than done at least for me anyways.  Im ok with doing the legwork - but the turning over still gets me sometimes.  I have a tendency to obsess a bit on things (something Im sure noone here is familiar with lol).

Yesterday I got great news that we were approved for a loan for a new camper we have been wanting.  We tried back several months ago and got handed what I thought was a bill of goods for an interest rate.  Yes we had some credit problems but we have worked diligently to correct and rebuild everything and the rate they offered did not reflect that.  I believe that HP had his hand in things months ago by not letting us overbuy what would have stretched our budget.

When I applied for the loan yesterday morning I must say that I had some trepidation but did a lot of asking questions ahead of time prior to giving any info for the application.  When I was satisfied with the answers I got I went ahead and applied.  After the process was done I let it go.  Now Im not perfect I admit that I did think about, and checked my phone a few extra times but overall I wasnt freaking out about it all.  So in about a week our new camper will be in place at our place up north and its all because I took the time to listen to my gut & to my HP.

The tools of this program are simple, they are tried & true.  They work if we work them.  If it hadnt worked out this time around - I would have been frustrated but I also know it was HP's way of protecting me from my wants vs. needs.  So I guess the message I have is do the leg work, let it go, dont get discouraged, if it doesnt happen it is for a reason - but then something better usually comes along.
Happy Camping All

I had a really really really hard time turning the awful stuff over, coming home and finding my darling cat dead for example, losing a job, having no money, living in a mess.  I gradually began to see even the terrible times do not go on forever, it may seem like forever but this too does pass.  Life is a series of ups and downs. The good will not last for ever either.

Maresie.
