I've been in my head alot lately. Sometimes depending on which way I choose I can find myself in an old neighborhood. I can go round and round Denial Circle, Sabatoge Hill,Sex Drive, Pity Pot Springs and wouldnt ya know it right past Serenity Park.
I think I need to bring a few things with me when I go inside my head. Firstly, it might be good to bring a flashlight. It can be damn dark in there. lol You can't find your way if you can't see where you are or recognize where you've been so my higher power will journey with me. Who better to bring than someone that knows their way around.
Now I need the right shoes for the trip "New Balance" might be a good choice for the footwork. Now it's "easy does it," as my higher power and I walk the old neighborhoods. Higher power suggests we don't linger. "The only way out is through," my higher power reminds me. I close my eyes afraid to look, take a deep breath and let go of the past. A peace comes over me. My higher power has helped me find my way. I look back just one last time but I don't stare then I run across the street to join the others in SerenityPark.

You crack me up! Now as someone who sells sneakers for a living (work with me here).... New Balance has never done it for me. I find them antiquated, heavy and they break down to fast. If we're talking about going inside my head, those are the things I am trying to get rid of. Long live my Mizuno running shoes. They are strong, lightweight (I'm heavy enough) and can take a beating. For inside my head they carry me without me knowing that they are there. They have an "inner strength" and let me beat up on them for a longer period of time! Remember it's not about what brand's inside of you, as long as they feel good! Love and blessings to you and your family.

I certainly know that route very well, and as I often seem to be in for the long haul I have to rely on my sturdy Berghaus walking boots. Strong, warm, waterproof, suitable for any type of terraine and yet, if taken care of, are resilient and comfortable.
Always glad to take them off when my higher power has brought me back to Serenity Park though!
