Oh I remember what the other thing was!


I replied to Jean444's post yesterday and I was saying that I had 2 things that I have been thinking but I couldn't remember the other thing. I did today! It is (drum roll please....) I don't have to think about him!!!!! Tada!!!! LOL!!! I really do not have to think about him at all. He has no more power in my life and I have evicted him from my mind. Just for today. I lived MY life today! Finally!! We are divorced, we have no contact, about time eh? Ok, just wanted to share on an upnote!

there are days when I think about the A a lot. For some reason January I was flooded with thoughts of him. February is much better. i hope to move to a space where I do not feel flooded anymore.  I look forward to that. I also look forward to a live where alcohol does not play any part in my existence.

Seren, you sure are right about that. And it is a CHOICE. I do beautifully when I do not think about him. When I do think about him, there are lots of other things I can think about instead and its getting easier and easier to just let all thoughts of him just go...thanks to this program.

I used to think I did not have control over my thoughts, but I now know that I do. This is what I can work on controlling, not other people, places and things- keeps the focus on me. Hugs and thanks so much for the simple but incredibly powerful reminder, J.

When I start thinking of "him" especially in bed, I train myself to think of my HP.

Instead of AH.......HP, HP, HP, HP, HP, HP, HP, HP.  It really works.
