It has been a while since I have been in this website, although I thought of many of you who helped me with support during some of my darkest moments as my son battled with the disease of addiction. My son did very well for a year but dealing with sobriety was very difficult for him especially since no one would now trust him and give him a job. After a year of let downs he went into a depression that almost killed him and ultimately he relapased (Meth). He lost all faith and hope of life getting better and now sitting in a jail cell has lost all faith in God and all hope for recovery he has faced a difficult journey and has attempted recovery many times.Today I call upon those of you who have success stories to tell to please consider sending him a note or card of hope and faith as I think he has grown tired of hearing it from, other than myself he has no support. I am hoping that your stories or support with hope will help him. I only ask that you keep your letter/card/notes anonymous because he likely will not appreciate me reaching out for help at this point. Once he is feeling better about himself I will let him know. You do not need to provide him with your name and address as well for your privacy.
