job interview result

Yes, the lady got the job and rang me to give me some interview tips this morning, I stayed calm and congratulated her and told her I was on holidays and needed to go, grrrh, grrh, grrh, thank you all, I needed to do that, still delighted I went for interview and did not get intimidated out of it,

I'm glad that you were not intimidated and forged on. I think there is always some sort of personal lesson to take away, something we should learn.

Take care
Christy

I am going to read up on interviewing as I will have to do some. My contact runs out in the next 2 months. Thanks for the inspiration and for reminding me it is a constant challenge.

What a B! Calling to rub it in and all. This must be a very catty line of work? I don't know if I would have bothered to go knowing the job was already gone. I guess it's good practice for a REAL job tho!

Sorry you had to deal with that crap while having an A staying with u as well.

Guys if you want any stuff on interviewing please let me know I can mail it anywhere in the world and would be glad too. I wouldn´t say its a catty line of work and in fact this lady´s lack of professionalism has surprised me as I certainly did not expect it. Thanks for all your support, much appreciated.

yeah, there is a better one out there for sure! There have been times when I was super bummed about not getting something like a job that I thought would be peachy but low and behold a little further down the road it turned out to be a real dog of a job in the end...with the person hired quitting, bad reports from coworkers about the boss be lousy, etc. etc. so it may be a blessing in disguise.
