GOOD MORNING! Just wanted to officially document the first snowfall of the season here in NY! I'm so excited I can't stand it! While I can't make snow people yet or snowballs, it's truly beautiful. After a long tough week of work, I have a rare Saturday off, and lo and behold it's snowing! This time last year it was so warm that we flooded (11/16). Now the fall has been glorious. But there is something that extra special about the first snowfall. There are big fluffy snowflakes against the remaining colors of fall. (I confess I did go out and try and catch them on my tongue!) HP in all it's glory. What a way to end the week. What a way to start my Pipers Kitty day!
So take the time to enjoy your day. Look outside and revel in the small delights. Pipers Kitty by the way has decided to go back to bed. Sigh..... she's getting older. Love and blessings to you all.
Live strong, Karilynn & Pipers Kitty

Never been so cold in my life as the years I spent in Rochester NY going to school there!! Watching the snow fall is beautiful as long as I don't have to go out in it.
It is bright and sunny here this morning and we are preparing for a high of 82F. That's my WOO HOO! LOL!
Love to you and Pipers kitty,
Diva

((karilynn))) sitting here picturing the snowfalling over there in NY I'm in California now..but had lived back east in PA for most of my life. Ahhhhhhhh....the wonder of the first snowfall...yeah for you for trying to catch the snowflakes on your tongue. I will admit to having done that same thing. Out here on the central coast of CA we are having a beautiful fall day. Chill in the air...beautiful sunshine. Tho i have to work today I will take a moment to go out and take in all the glory of the day...and send up a ty to my HP for the day. Marm (my orange kitty) sends his best to Pipers. Enjoy your day...and ty for the reminder to enjoy the beauty around us.
I love the snow and although it is cold, wet and very windy here and frosty at night there is NO SNOW.
Snow angels are my thing. I remember going tramping in 5/6ft drift in my youth. Not had snow like that since though and my children have NEVER seen snow like that.
A friend flew back from NYC last night and remarked on the beautiful colours of your fall. One of my ambitions is to come over there and ice-skate in Central Park!
Thanks for sharing that.
