How is everyone?! I haven't been on in here FOREVER...things are still a tad crazy ;) but that's how I like it right? Haha I just wanted to give everyone a *positive* update!!!
We'll start with the kiddies:
Arianna (6)-Started 2nd grade and is KICKIN BUTT. Haha got her report card Friday...STRAIGHT A'SSSSS. That's my girl :D
Gabriel (5)-Started kindergarten! We're still getting used to the whole "homework" thing...he doesn't like it so much...surprise surprise........
Erica (2)-Preschool next year! Her mom finally showed up again, however she's now in rehab, but Erica doesn't know what's going on, so she's a very happy girl.
Cecilia (1)-My little goober is gettin so big! She and Erica are best of friends, and she's walking! Took FOREVER but the stubborn little one finally got it! Haha.
Kaylee and Kevin (8 months)-I feel bad, I always refer to those two as like a package deal haha. They're definately starting to get their own personalities though. Kaylee's very quite and will DEFINATELY let you know if she doesn't like you (which is basically everyone), and Kevin is just the happiest little thing I've ever met.
Anyways, now the minor detail of me haha. I'm going to be 17 in January! Ugh I feel so old, like definately not by the number, but by life. The divorce was finalized last month and Jason basically disappeared off the face of the Earth...which trust me, is a good thing. I found a great guy, the same one I was with the last time I was on here I believe. He's an old family friend, and we're living together with the kids. And it sounds like I'm rushing (again) but I swear I'm not. The divorce and 6 kids by 16 made me snap out of it! I haven't heard from anyone in my family in a few months, but my dad did finally disappear. He'd been in and out for awhile, but we lost contact a few weeks ago. I'm hoping that's for the better.
For now, I'm taking college classes at the local college, working 2 jobs (that I love) and spending time with the kids and Eric. He's in National Guard which is basically his job for now, except the shifts he picks up at his dad's company (to help with bills).
I should graduate with my Associates of Philosophy at the same time I graduate from high school as long as I keep my grades up, and keep my course load. I'm not sure how we're doing it, but Eric's family is VERY supportive, and well, we're doin it!
Hope everyone else is well...I plan to make it a point to get on here MUCH more often :D
Gosh you deserve a medal coping with all that. I am over 40 and I reckon it would be overwhelming to say the least. Your children are so blessed to have you as a role model. I wish you all the luck in the world and keep in touch. Luv Leo xx
