At first I was thinking ew, what if he had lice or was a perv....but about half way thru I thought what a great idea. Hugs are such a great benefit of this program. Alot of us living with an A are denied physical contact or refuse it. Just the comfort of a hug at a meeting can lift my spirit and give me a shot of peace. By the end I was inspired. Human contact is a good thing.

Sometimes a hug is all any of us need to cope with this madness. I showed this to my daughter, both of us had tears in our eyes.

I researched "Free Hugs" a bit and found that it is actually a Global Campaign. Very Cool!!!
It initially started in Amsterdam and through this video being placed on youtube it spread to Australia. There are other videos from Korea, Tel Aviv, China, Vancouver, Poland, Hollywood.

I love this video. Makes me feel good to be alive! I was at an Area Assembly this weekend and got/gave so many hugs it was wonderful. On the way home I stopped in and visited my brother. My family of origin does NOT hug. When I left I gave my bro a big ole hug....it felt wonderful and he nearly cried! smile
