Enjoy! The last two lines are mine.as program teaches us, let's go do the next right thing!Love to all,NANUKEDo It Anyway
People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centered. Love them anyway. If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives. Do good anyway. If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies. Succeed anyway.
The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable. Be honest and frank anyway. The biggest men and women with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest men and women with the smallest minds. Think big anyway. People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs. Fight for a few underdogs anyway.
What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. Build anyway. People really need help but may attack you if you do help them. Help people anyway. Give the world the best you have and you'll get kicked in the teeth. Give the world the best you have anyway. No matter what others may do or say, do all for Gods glory
One of my favorite and similar ones is from The Dalai Lama, who says something to the effect that when we are altruistic in a competitive society, we may ultimately encounter people who will believe we are motivated by other things, and out to get them, we may encounter people who will sabatoge us for our hard work, and we may find no reward in our work from our giving. He goes on to say that we should continue to do so anyway without any expectation of reward for our altuism and to do so anonymously if possible, for even if the world thinks less of us for our giving, the search and giving of honesty and integrety is ultimately what we need to give to eachother and to no one else, reguardless of their opinion.
