I've found a friend who may want to share animal care and other things with me. We are actively looking for a larger place in the area. We both can have time to look and have specific ideas about the place/size/amenities. I find this so refreshing to be out of the loop of obsessing about the A's latest self destrcution. I know this also moves me to a place where I will no longer be supporting the A. For now he can keep stuff in my storage (of course he shows not an ounce of gratitude for that). I will also be moving to a place where this month I finally break the tie and stop paying for his storage. As small as that amount is I need it to pay my own bills.
The A insists he is coimng over tomorrow to fetch his dog after breezing through his court appearance. I have told him he needs to make an appointment and I am not available. Gone are the days when I will jujp for him. I ams sick of his self centeredness and his entitlement issues. I know if and when he comes he will hit me up for money and I am sick of it so I am avoiding him. I also think he is terminally naive about getting off on the court issue. If The District attorney is pursuing the case they have one. He has pled out on most of his other charges and it could be he intends to do that but I don't know. I also know I am not going to stand on my head to go down and get his stuff for him. I'm through stanidng on my head for him. He can make his own arrangements. All I get from him is grief, more grief and still more grief. Why bother?
Possesion is 9/10 of the law and YOU have the dog. lol. Sounds like you are wising up to his ways. I can't wait till you are rid of him for good. This new friend sounds nice and peaceful. Good luck on your new friendship. You are very smart to not be available for the ex A.
YOU GO GIRL!!! Every day you are getting stronger and doing more and more for you. I am so incredibly proud of you!!! I know my A has a curious way of getting out of all of his legal problems or at least getting off a lot lighter than he should! I mean come on, he stole a car with a guy sleeping in back, kicked him out and then totalled it. He got a few weeks for that one. Right now he is in prison on a probation violation for assaulting his new little gf back in Jan. or Feb. and they tacked in the DUI, reckless driving and failure to appear with that one. I have been thinking that crime pays in NC LOL. Hmmmmmm, I have been looking for part time side work LOL!
