I finally got the key to the new condo on Sunday morning and had about 3/4 of the stuff moved in Sunday night. Of course Monday was a nightmare with waking up late, getting the kids set at their first day of school, the kindergarten teacher forgot to put my son on the bus and I work an hour away. I had to pay almost $500 in deposits to get the power and phone turned on because of the bad credit from the Truck that the A lost to the impound yard. I went back last night and moved a car and truck full and will be back again to fill the car tonight and probably tomorrow to finish up and clean. I couldn't get signed up for daycare assistance because I had to be moved in to qualify so oldest daughter (dictator) is still watching the two little ones until I get home.
On a positive note: I have developed a very good friendship with my daughter's best friend's mother and she has been just an incredible help to me right now. She's come out and loaded up her car twice and then helped us unload the truck and my car yesterday. PLUS she picked up my daughter (8) at the bus and my son (5) at the school. Second, some people that came to the garage sale the weekend before last brought a truck (which I didn't have arranged) on Sunday and helped us move all the big stuff Sunday and yesterday. I couldn't have done it without them and they just appeared out of nowhere. I gave them my old washer and dryer and the microwave because otherwise I would just have to store it somewhere. They helped us move everything in and were incredible! So in my opinion that was an example of HP sending people right when you need them in your life. I'm not quite done, but I'm close and I'll be so glad when it's over but it would have been 10 times worse without the help of all these wonderful people who made this go quickly and painlessly (except for achy muscles). Also, my back is miraculously feeling better too. Still hurts some but not nearly the pain I was in last week. Odd thing is I think all the lifting actually helped it LOL.
That is so awesome (((CG))) glad you are able to get settled into the new place. HP is awesome like that, thanks for sharing that is a true testimony of what can happen when we have faith.

I am still moving. I am moving most of my stuff into storage because I live in a tiny room. People are helping me and I am grateful but it is hard not to feel sorry for myself. I am in immense hardship because of the A.
I needed to read this today. I woke up scared (about everything), and after reading your post I had to ask myself why HP wouldn't be "there" for me as well.
I am so happy HP sent some angels your way. You deserved all that help and more. Take good care. SO happy you are close to settling in at your new digs!
