Alot of these posts have me thinking. Doesn't it seem that with or without an A in our life, that life is just getting financially harder? It's like the price of gas sky rockets yet our paychecks do not. Our taxes get higher and our paychecks do not. How can stamps go up, gas, taxes, bills, ect and our paycheck may only go up a quarter? It's pretty bad when its wrecking the family unit. It's tearing families apart all over. Even if we cut down to the bare minimals we are still broke. It makes me want to scream. I wanted to post this because it seems we are all going through it and it's nice to know that we are not alone. It's easy to get aggrevated about financial problems and this is why we need to focus on some positives so that our families can survive this economy. Let's not give in to the monatary things but to focus on love and our beautiful families and children. Love you guys (((HUGS)))
Money is never fun. How many of us have saved up for the perfect present for one of our kids and had them enjoy themselves the whole day... with the BOX!
My kids and many of thier friends love lots of free stuff... parks, walks, swimming, basketball, bike riding, kick ball, wrestling in the leaves, chess, uno ... and my children are begining to love the idea of talking to at least one parent who has time for them. I am trying to be that parent.
Know what my 12 yr old and I did for Memorial Day... we dug a hole in the yard and filled it with rocks so the water would drain away from the basketball goal when it rained. Got dirty and had a blast.

That's great rtexas. When we got our new dishwasher the men wanted to take the box when I told them no they were taken back and asked "why?" and I said "well my kids and I make a car out of it". They love the box. I love the dishwasher. hahaha
I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one going through this! I am definatly feeling the financial crunch. It is getting hard to buy food with the cost of everything else going up. I may have to move back in with my active A just to be able to afford to live. The thought of it scares me to death. I am not sure what to do about the finances at this time. I have given it over to HP, and I know he will let me know what to do.
