 The house I am moving into already has electronic fencing. Does anyone know offhand how much collars cost? I am so excited to be getting my 2 big,stinky mutts back. I have missed them so very much. Ofcourse my mom has had them with her for the past year and she is feeling a little down that her "grand-puppies" won't be with her full time anymore. This is so funny as she is a confirmed cat person. Guess she knows now that she is actually an animal person. HP has a plan....they were outside dogs that had the run of the woods from puppyhood till last year when i lost the house and they moved in with my mom in the suburbs. They had to learn to walk on leashes, and not bark at every single noise, and there was no deer to eat.....so, they have evolved into domesticated pets which is what they need to be to live with me in this little village. Oh, I hope all of this goes as planned....I really miss them....

I would look and see if you can see the name of the fence company and find out what you need.
then ya might look on ebay or advertise on Craigslist.

You may be able to rent them as  usually dogs get zapped one time and that is all it takes.

some dogs don't care. And remember it does not keep other dogs out of the yard.

I am so excited for you. to see you doing well on your path and miracles happening.

Debilyn's points are well-taken.  Some dogs will grit their teeth and run through to freedom. I have seen it happen.  And you WILL need to have the fence manufacturer's name.  Hope you find the collars you need.
