I went for it! I bought the house! I have taken all the steps so far including calling my landlady and apoplgizing for the message I left yesterday if I sounded snotty. That was the hardest. She agreed to let me stay till June 1st which is awsome. The plan is to be closed by end of May. Wow things move fast when they start to move. I am still scared but I think that's natural. Change is so scarry for me. It's all the stuff leading up to the closing....I can live somewhere new, that's ok. Even figuring out how to pay my bills, ok with that. It's all the stuff...signing stuff, talking to people, lawyers, i just feel like i am so inadequte or less than when it comes to those things. That makes me nervous. that is when I miss having a husband the most. It felt like us against them in a sense. Not in a bad war-like way. Just someone to be in the same boat with. But then again, without him I don't have to worry about him tipping us over!
Congratulations!!! Its normal to be nervous! I was so nervous when I bought my house after my divorce! I was used to everything always being a joint venture so to speak. It was the first thing I did on my own. I felt so great after all was said and done. Be prepared to sign lots of papers though, I had cramps in my fingers from all the documents I had to sign. It was well worth it though

CONGRATS ON THE HOUSE! WOOHOO! I know change is scary, and me being a Taurus, I resist change! lol As for all those things that we feel "inadequate" about, that's where I use to call a good friend of mine. I call him "rent-a-husband"! It's very convenient. Even hubby laughs at that. You'll do just fine. Here's to your new . May it be filled with love, laughter and lots of good memories.
Love and blessings to you and your family.
Live strong,
Karilynn & Pipers Kitty
