I have been watching this all morning and am praying for all involved from the families to those who are in service positions. It is a scary, scary thing.
It just makes me sick. I can't even imagine having a child in college and worrying about his/her life in class. It's also why when I hear people say "everything happens for a reason", I cringe, I don't buy it for a second.

It shocks me everytime this happens. I too have a hard time understanding it too. Happens for a reason? Yeah, there is no reason. A friend of mine recently left the faculty there, and now they have to face the loss of friends and co-workers. Such a waste.

I am so annoyed by the media coverage of this devastating tragedy. The tv reporters are bound and determined to lay the "blame" on the school administration. The students who have been interviewed have been wise enough to not play the "blame game." Good for them. And of course, the gun law enthusiasts are having a field day.
What they should all be concentrating on is why this psychotic person caused this awful carnage, and how we can recognize and avoid future events.
Today my heart breaks for the families of the innocent victims. I hope that someday they will find peace.
