I am finding more and more that I am taking more baby steps. This is such an amazing journey. First off my A tried to bait me last weekend, I wouldn't allow it, when he threatened to leave (this hasn't happened in over 8 months) I calmly walked him to the door and told him good bye.....(that makes me smile) I didn't feel the need to call his phone and leave him a million messages. I got in bed and went to sleep......LOL and I slept!!! Next, I love my job!!! I am finding it easier and easier to do things for me. I went and got my nails done! Bought a new outfit! And today......registered for the sign language class (first of three) and ordered the required book!!!! Two years ago I would have never thought I could be so peaceful and content especially with my A still drinking. Hang in there and work the program....it really does work!!! Hugs Mar

Hey, way to go!! I am still working the manicure/pedicure angle, but one by one we all get in the door right?

I can hear the serenity in your voice..... You go girl! That's a great example of how your program works for you if you work it. I would have loved to have been there when you were at the door. Hmmm.... I wonder if that would work for my boss! It's so nice to have a job you, and be able to take care of yourself. I'm proud of you great lady. You've been through alot and have handled it with grace and poise. Your Mom would be so proud of you, just the way I am.
