Hello all, I haven't posted in a while, since my surgery I have just been so exhausted and after a while it gets painful to sit up at the computer. I am planning to try to quit smoking soon again. I have an 800 number I am going to call for Al-anon and maybe someone will come visit and maybe help me out. Does anyone think if I call and explain my situation, someone would come? Please pray for me. I am dealing with tons of stress, etc. I will try to post more later. I need you all now very much.

I think that the chances are very good that someone will come, if you call. Even in a very little group like the one I go to, with maybe a dozen people tops, someone would be willing and able to answer a call of that sort.
At the very very least, someone will be happy to talk to you on the phone. I'm on the contact list for our group, and these days, with cordless phones and headsets, a 12 step call fits in with day to day life just fine.
My prayers are with you today, hang in there. Good you are reaching out to us, and with phone calls to get your head right... it really truly helps, doesn't it??? It is okay to ask for help, I'm sure you know that by now. This website is about the best thing that has ever happened!
