well he is back home


well he is back home..he only spent 3 days in detox,he says they r trying to find a rehab for him to go to..he told me he needs to do rehab cause it will look good for him in court..so he is only doing this do get out of trouble not because he has a drinking and drug problem...he wants me to help him come up with 2500.00 to pay for a lawyer,i told him to go to a public defender,that im not paying anything,since he came home thursday he hasnt tried to go to a meeting,all he has been doing is staying in the bedroom..and complaining...i told him this is his problem not mine,i finally got him to go back to work,so when we move{my daughter,me her husband and my 2 grandbabies}he wont be here but as of this thursday jan 25 i will be heading to ny with my daughter..they got thier taxes and we r moving,im going to go see a lawyer on tuesday about leaving..i have alot of things to do before thursday,close my bank account,and get papers together,and pay a few last bills,and have the phone shut off which is in my name.plus to get papers so when i get to ny i can plates for my car up there{the car is mine and is my name}im scared i want out of this marriage and this mess he keeps putting us in,but i am also excited about starting my life over,im scared cause im afraid he is going to find out what we r up to and i dont know what he will do..my daughter has all her stuff packed,so her and her husband r going to help me go though papers and stuff tomorrow and tuesday and get things organized,so that when he goes to work on thursday we can get up and start getting ready son in law will go get the moving truck and pick up my son from the hotel{my son is flying down on wednesday to help with the move but he is staying in a motel for the nite,so hubby dont catch on}once im out of florida i will start to feel better

I don't have much advice or ESH, as you are working damned hard to enact your plan B, and for that, I'm tremendously proud and excited for you and the fam.

Tacticly speaking, I think you should also be prepared for your Ah finding out about your plans.  I know it seems scary to even think about, but you know what they say about the best layed plans....

Yeah, if it means spending the lat night or two in a women's shelter or a motel to feel safe, then you do that.  Keep your keys and a little moneyin your pocket, just in case.

If you got a restraining order you could keep him away from the house until you got all your stuff out.  Just a thought, just in case it might be good to have on hand ready to serve.
